The World Happiness Forum is a non-profit organization with the mission of "fostering dialogue and research between modern science, psychology, philosophy, economics and religion into the many and varied causes and conditions for human happiness. It builds on a deep commitment to the power and value of the diversity of ways of advancing knowledge and their potential to alleviate suffering and enhance happiness." How cool is that?
This November they are hosting a convention in San Francisco called Happiness and it's Causes. Over the course of four days they will explore techniques for achieving happiness and well-being, for ourselves and others. The agenda and speakers look amazing. A participant from last year's event in Sydney said, "It left me full of hope for a better future." I could use a little of that!
