Katie and I are happy to report that You Can Blossom, If Only You Believe is now complete and available for purchase! It is available in both soft and hardcover versions to meet any budget. 100% of the proceeds from the book are going towards Katie's college fund.

  

You Can Blossom, If Only You Believe is a project we started in November 2006. The purpose of the book is to help little girls love and believe in themselves, regardless of their circumstances. Our hope is that young people will  dream big dreams, believe in possibilities, be true to themselves and begin charting a course for a confident and amazing life.

 

If there is a child in your life who could use a little encouragement, a boost in their self confidence, or could benefit from understanding that anything is possible with goals and determination, we welcome you to consider our book to set them on a path to realizing their capabilities.

The book is both inspired and illustrated by my friend Katie. Despite the fact that she was only 12 years old when we started, she has wisdom beyond her years, a quiet confidence and a gentle and loving spirit. She is also a living example of what is possible if only you believe.

 

Introducing Katie Clothier, Illustrator & Poet

 

When Traci asked me to illustrate a book, I was so excited.  When I found out that it was for girls my age to build their self confidence and self esteem, I was super excited! I’ve always loved to draw and paint, especially watercolors. I get it from my grandma who has taught me how to paint using different techniques. I was also honored that Traci let me include a little bit of my writing. I wrote the poem, “My Courage” a few years ago. I love to write motivational quotes for my dad that he hangs in his office.

To tell you a little more about me, I like to play volleyball, swim in my friend Courtney’s pool, go horseback riding, listen to music, and play with my puppy Milo. My favorite subject in school is math…can you believe it? Artist, poet, athlete, and mathematician, interesting combo right? What can I say, that’s me. Some of my goals are to be at least as tall as my sister Kelli’s shoulder - she is currently pushing 5’11’’, to be as care free as my little brother, Cole, to be as successful as my dad, Corey, as smart and nice as my mom, Lisa, and as generous and as hard working as my friend Traci. My goals for “You Can Blossom, If You Only Believe” are to inspire girls and give them the self confidence to live their dreams and reach their goals. So, I really hope you get a lot out of this book and enjoy reading it.
