About Us

Tammy and Traci are sisters (born 10 months apart). We created this site to be a resource for encouragement and inspiration, especially for girls, teens and women who seek a warm place and positive thoughts. In this space we also like to honor and recognize people for being true to themselves and their dreams, as well as those trying to make a difference in the world.

 

Dedication

We dedicate this website to our Grandma Ruth. She is an example of a woman who overcame difficulties early in her life, who recognized her passion, and made a choice to pursue her dream of opening a cake bakery out of her home. Later in her life she lost her sight, but never lost her sunny disposition. Despite the fact that she was legally blind, she continued to golf, bake and loved to "read" her books on tape. Like Tammy, she had a smile that would warm your heart. And when you were in her company, she gave you her undivided attention and made you feel like the most important person in the world. Heaven could be found in her home made bread, macaroni & cheese and fried chicken!

Grandma Ruth and Grandpa Max were also a living example that true love exists and has the power to last a lifetime.
